This Iznik pottery-inspired needlepoint ornament has a traditional ceramic floral pattern.
Iznik is a town in Anatolia, Turkey that is famous for it's 15th-17th century ceramics. Iznik-ware was traditionally painted in turquoise and a deep blue before other colors like sage green and red were added in the latter part of the 17th century.
The design measures 5" in diameter and is color-printed onto 18 mesh mono canvas.
If you want to keep your canvas taut on a frame while you stitch it we recommend purchasing two pair of 9" stretcher bars and some thumb tacks.
