Needlepoint Stores
Independent needlepoint stores are the life blood of our industry. We hope you can find what you are looking for on this site, but if not you probably need to find a bricks-and-mortar store. See the link at the bottom of this page for one in your area.
Needlepoint stores offer full service and help with your projects. They can advise you on threads to use, stitches, and anything else to do with needlepoint. A good store will do all this, and more, within a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Classes on all sorts of topics related to needlepoint are also usually offered.
Most stores carry handpainted canvases and needlepoint kits, although some will only stock one or the other. If there is something a store does not have, they will usually be glad to order it in for you.
If you are vacationing somewhere, why not look up the needlepoint "hot spots" in the area where you are visiting? Each store offers something different and they are always interesting.
Many needlepoint "joints" now operate as part of a larger, multi-use emporium. For example you will often find needlepoint and knitting together, or needlepoint and cross stitch. Needlepoint and quilting is also a good match.
