Needlepoint Kits

We love needlepoint kits! They are so easy. The manufacturer has made all the decisions for you in terms of what thread to use, how much you will need, instructions for how to stitch. It's all right there. Watch the video we have put together about needlepoint kits (at the left side of this page).

Needlepoint kits come in all shapes and sizes. If you have never stitched before then you might be looking for something a little easier.

Beginner needlepoint kits are usually stitched on a larger mesh canvas so the holes are bigger and the design area is easier to see. This Mermaid kit is a beginner kit from the Crafty Dog range. If it is a contemporary design you are after then you cannot go past the bright, colorful needlepoint pillow kits by Jennifer Pudney, or the modern floral range from The Stitchsmith. Both of these designers are from New Zealand. From Australia we have the Spotted Skink range of contemporary needlepoint kits, including this Sahara Camel, above. Jennifer Pudney also designs a range of witty, whimsical postcard-size kits that are hugely popular and good for learning on. Wind Dancer, above, is a kit from this range.
